ARTIST NOTES: Driftwood is a coastal inspired mixed media artwork. With the ocean blues that meet the sand's golden coastline and the driftwood browns that float along the surface, presents a rustic coastal mood and aesthetic. For me, the colours floating on the surface give the artwork a relaxed ocean feel that helps the viewer escape to their beach getaway and offer feelings of relaxation and free of the stresses of daily life.
