ARTIST NOTES: This is my second soft pastel creation and this came long very quickly. Inspired by all the beautiful gum trees I have looked up to see, watching the calming swaying gentle ancient giants with rustling leaves and screeching squawking galahs or cockatoos exploding from the many twisting branches. Silvery army green leaves with hues of bourbon red veins, purples and pinkish fleshy bark with smoky tones, from a bush fire many years ago. Look upon a first star, a twinkle in the moonlight gum……
