Chanelle's Great-Grandfather was a professional artist who owned his own gallery in Yorkshire, England. It was his son; Chanelle's Grandfather, a Civil Engineer who immigrated to Australia that first instilled her love for art. She would sneak up to his studio where he would be studying the great artists techniques and would watch him paint famous works of Rembrandt, Da Vinci and the like. She expressed herself creatively while working as a teacher in Dubai for 10 years and eventually moved to back to the Mornington Peninsula with her husband to start a family. During this new chapter of her life she is creating art inspired by her family adventures with her two boys, husband and their cheeky Basset Hound, Bernard. You can find her sketch art in stores and galleries across Victoria. |
