ARTIST BIO

I have recently, over Covid returned to painting and retiring from a busy and interesting career. Over the  years I have done weaving, pottery, mosaics and now painting with acrylics and oils.

I have joined a painting group which meeets on a Thursday at Monicas Art Gallery in Sorento apart from being guided by Monica we have also had great fun's and sharing of our experiences 

I have found I really enjoy the freedom of abstract painting will painting houses and letting my imagination run free, has resulted in some quirky paintings. I'm also enjoying painting landscapes. I am looking at submitting some of my paintings into Community and Rotary Art Show to see how it goes. I was recently voted the runner up to the Peoples Choice of painting at a local community art show and have sold a few paintings. So this is the start af a new adventure and I'm loving it.
